La Bastilla Coffee Estates sits in Nicaragua’s northern highlands near Jinotega — a region known for cool nights, lush terrain, and coffees that balance sweetness with clarity. The estate is a model of precision and passion, focusing on traceable micro-lots grown and processed entirely on-site. Since 2003, this Rainforest Alliance–certified farm has been cultivating exceptional small-lot coffees in harmony with the surrounding rainforest.
This anaerobic lot is fermented in sealed tanks to highlight fruit and chocolate tones. In the cup: chocolate, berry, and black tea. Roasted light for clarity and sweetness across brew methods, from pour-over to espresso.
