If you loved our previous Costa Rica “Cozy in a Cup,” this coffee carries that same spirit forward — familiar warmth, reimagined through a new mill and producer.
This coffee comes from Montano Micro-Mill in Tarrazú, led by local producer Juan Ramon, who works with nearby smallholder farmers to explore careful fermentation and sweetness-driven profiles. Using an anaerobic honey process, ripe cherries are slowly fermented in oxygen-free tanks before drying — building depth while keeping the cup clean, balanced, and quietly complex.
The cup emphasizes cinnamon spice, fruit-driven sweetness, and a rounded mouthfeel. Expect hibiscus and raspberry brightness layered over brown spice and honeyed depth.
